TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – Thursday afternoon, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka stuffed the bus.

It’s what they call the 9th annual charity drive that supports the Boys and Girls Club of Topeka. The bank gathered toys, school supplies and other items that will go to the clubs around the area.

Pat Colley was a representative at the event for the Boys and Girls Club.

“It’s really about giving back to the community. The youth within, they are our tomorrow, and it’s about investing in those kids so that they have a bright future, and Topeka has a bright future as well,” he said.

The Topeka Boys and Girls Club has 14 locations around the metro for before and after school programming, as well as full-day services during holiday, spring and summer breaks.
