West Ridge Mall is looking to empty space with a sale.

From 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 20, a tenant fixture sale will take place at West Ridge Mall. Items include those from such former mall tenants as Children's Place, GAP, Sunglass Hut and more.

"A lot of this stuff is just going to be sold as is," said West Ridge Mall manager Casey Richardson, "there might be some minor cosmetic details and things."

Richardson said the sale is not designated for only those who own a retail business or restaurant. It is welcome for everyone to attend who may be interested in purchasing something.

What all will be included in the tenant fixture sale?

Those who attend can find miscellaneous items that include some of the following items:

    • Display shelves.
    • Mannequins of all sizes.
    • Salon chairs.
    • Office chairs.
    • Vacuums.
    • Kitchen utensils.
    • Mini fridges.
    • Tables.
    • Retail signs.
    • Lounge chair and couch.
    • Hangers.

A maintenance team will be on site to assist in loading larger purchased items, said Richardson.

"We have pallet jacks and forklifts that we can lift in people's cars with," Richardson said, "but unloading will be on their own."

How will items be paid for?

Items at the tenant fixture sale will be for sale by cash only. Checks, digital wallets like Venmo, Cash-App, Zelle and others won't be accepted.

Items will be low priced with multiple bundle deals for certain items, Richardson said.

What else will be taking place at West Ridge Mall on Saturday?

In addition to the tenant fixture sale, a back-to-school sidewalk sale will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. across the mall. Stores will offer deals for customers to get ready for back-to-school season.

From 1 to 4 p.m., Petland will host a free dog wash near the Petland entrance. Those who bring their furry friend must bring their own towel, but flea and tick shampoo will be provided. Donations are accepted and will be given to the Second Chance Animal Refuge Society.

"We're excited to see everybody this weekend," Richardson said, "and don't forget about all of the other events that will go on after the sale."
