Two people were found fatally shot late Monday in the 1600 block of S.W. 70th in the Montara community just south of Topeka, said Shawnee County Sheriff Brian C. Hill.

Hill's office wasn't immediately revealing the names, genders or ages of the deceased people or information about their cause and manner of death.

“Preliminary investigation shows this incident to be domestic-related," he said. "At this time, no additional individuals are believed to be under investigation.”

Circumstances of the deaths remained under investigation.
