    Toppenish Fire crews battling reignited fire near homeless encampment

    TOPPENISH, Wash. -- Toppenish fire crews are on scene of a blaze that reignited Tuesday afternoon.

    Fire officials said the first started Monday but had reignited Tuesday afternoon in the 600 block of Linden Street.

    Yakima County Fire District 5, City of Toppenish Fire and Yakima Indian Nation Fire Management assisted in battling the blaze.

    Officials said the fire burned around 4.2 acres and no structures are threatened at this time.

    Fire investigators said the fire was man caused and is near a known homeless encampment.
