    John Cena expressed his appreciation for his loyal wrestling supporters during an event on Saturday evening, revealing his decision to step away from the ring and declaring that the upcoming WWE WrestleMania would mark his last appearance in the event.

    Addressing a crowd in Toronto, Cena was met with a mix of emotions from fans who were reluctant to see him leave. Despite the audience’s disapproving reactions, the wrestler, now also known for his acting endeavors, confirmed his retirement plans and announced an upcoming farewell tour scheduled for the following year.

    “The 2025 Royal Rumble will be my last,” Cena said. “The 2025 Elimination Chamber will be my last. And I’m here tonight to announce that in Las Vegas, WrestleMania 2025 will be the last I compete in.” He added, “Thank you so much for letting me play in the house that you built for so many years. Thank you so much always for your voice because it’s really loud, and your honesty because it’s beautifully brutal.”

    Throughout his nearly two-decade tenure with the wrestling organization, Cena has achieved the prestigious title of 16-time WWE champion. In addition to his wrestling success, he has seamlessly transitioned into a Hollywood career, showcasing his acting talent in movies like “Barbie” and “Argylle.” Furthermore, Cena has made notable appearances in the popular “Fast & Furious” film series, further solidifying his status as a versatile entertainer.

    Despite his flourishing acting career, Cena has remained dedicated to his wrestling roots and persona. The multi-talented star attempted to explain his decision to step back at the moment, alluding to the WWE “Money in the Bank” event where he was delivering his remarks.

    “Why now? Because it’s money in the bank, the ultimate symbol of opportunity,” Cena said. “And this farewell does not end tonight — it is filled with opportunities.”

    He continued by highlighting the groundbreaking move of WWE’s “RAW” Monday-night matches transitioning to Netflix, marking a historic moment for the franchise. Cena expressed his excitement to commemorate his numerous “lasts” alongside these significant “firsts.”

    Furthermore, Cena playfully hinted at engaging in electrifying battles by challenging WWE superstars with a memorable rallying cry, urging them to seize the opportunity by saying, “If you want some, hurry up and come get some.”
