Gamescom 2024's Incredible Game Studio Lineup So Far

The largest gaming convention in the world is quickly approaching. Gamescom is being held in Cologne, Germany from August 21 through 25. There will also be an exciting live opening on August 20 for the whole world to enjoy. Some of the biggest names in the gaming industry are set to make waves by sharing more about some much-anticipated titles. Here's how the lineup is looking so far.

The Biggest Presences at Gamescom

Of all the giants that will be attending the convention, Xbox and Capcom seem to be taking the lead for the largest presence. Xbox is set to show off more than 50 games throughout the event. Among those games are special presentations of the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Starfield: Shattered Space, and Avowed. Officials with Xbox will be hosting broadcasts straight from their booth on August 21, 22, and 23 to show what they have to offer. These broadcasts are just some of the events and activities on the schedule for this gaming giant.

Leading the way for Capcom is the eagerly-anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds. During the opening night broadcast on August 20, the world will have another new trailer for the upcoming game. Also available at Gamescom will be more than 60 playable demo stations for Wilds. The other games players will be getting new looks at or hands-on experiences with are Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Street Fighter 6, and Ace Attorney Investigations Collection. Guests at Gamescom can find Capcom at Hall 9 - A070.

Other Big Names in the Lineup

Many other big names are set to make an appearance at Gamescom. Whether they're showing off the latest in gaming or tech, they offer a wide variety of exhibitions. Take-Two Interactive, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Bethesda, and Hoyoverse are a few more of the groups that will be there. While it's unknown just what all these booths will exactly have in store, there's no doubt that it will be an excellent time for gamers.

On the tech side of things, there will be no shortage of showcases. Samsung is on the Gamescom roster and will likely be showing off some new hardware just like at Summer Game Fest.
