Tom Aspinall Wants Stipe Miocic Not to Fight "He's Old"

Tom Aspinall has been challenging the Heavyweight Championship Title Holder Jon Jones for a fight for a long time. Recently, Tom fought in UFC 304 against Curtis Blades. Tom dominated Blades and knocked him out, which stepped up his challenge to Jones.

Aspinall wanted to have Jones back in the game so he could fight him and take the throne away, but things did not go according to his plan. Jones did come back, and he is also going to fight, but Aspinall will not be his opponent. Jones decided to fight Stipe Miocic before anyone else.

Aspinall has clearly stated that this is not the fight Jones should be looking forward to. He meant that he was the one who deserved to fight Jones and get a chance at the title. Previously, Jones was ready for a comeback, but things did not go well as the doctors did not allow him to return to the ring right away. He was scheduled to fight in UFC 295 against Stipe Miocic.

Stipe has already won the Heavyweight Title two times. As a two-time champion, Jones opted to fight him to prove to the world that he is the real champion of the Heavyweight Division. The Jones fight was canceled because his doctors said that he was not fit for the fight because his pectoral muscle was torn.

Tom Aspinall fought Curtis Blades in UFC 304. Blades was fighting for the Interim Championship. The win against Blades was legendary because Aspinall knocked him out in under 60 seconds.

Now, Aspinall is being strategic here, as he has called out Jones for a long time, but this time, he's asking Stipe Miocice to step out of the game. He thinks that Miocic is too old for this."Get Stipe out of there. Let's be honest; the guy is 43 years old. He's had a four-year layoff, and his last fight was a knockout loss."

He thinks that as the President of the United States gave up the Democratic party ticket, Stipe should also not fight Jon Jones and let the right person fight him. " Granted, he's an absolute legend in the sport. He's the best heavyweight ever, statistically. He's the best heavyweight ever, but the guy needs to be pulled out of the race. The guy needs to be Joe Biden'd. He's too old."
