John Cena, the charismatic wrestler, who would excite fans with his thrilling gymnastics in the WWE ring, is ready for an elaborate retirement tour. While preparing for his ‘last dance’ in wrestling, Cena revealed earlier that he will have a farewell tour in 2025 performing around 36 events around the world.

This tour will be the last chance for the fans to see Cena dancing in the ring before he retires from wrestling which gave him the stardom. Having been given the golden ticket chance to so fantastically bow out, Cena spoke to the media in a recent interview about his plans and what will be expected of his grand swansong.

John Cena’s Retirement Tour: An Epic Farwell

During a recent interview with the Collider site, John Cena described in detail the timeline of his retirement tour. He emphasizes that the tour will run from January to December in the year 2025 and it will comprise roughly 36 events. Laying down his challenge Cena said that he wanted to take this as a chance to wrestle in front of the WWE fans all over the world again. Cena mentioned

This is one thing I can give you—I can probably confirm [that] Peacemaker will take us to the end of 2024, and I can say that with the utmost conviction because I have given the calendar year 2025 to WWE. I am retiring in 2025, and I start that farewell tour in January and I’ll end it in December. It’s gonna be right around 36 dates around the world to pay thanks and gratitude to the WWE audiences around the world. So, that’s what I’m doing in 2025.

    A Consistent Plan

John Cena’s scenario is in tandem with statements that he has formerly given concerning his retirement. Last month, he said that he would give ‘mid-30s to 40s’ concerts, which matches the number of shows he had mentioned. This consistency reassures him to ensure his last year in WWE is a memorable one for his fans and followers.

    Current Projects and Future Plans

At the moment, John Cena is already planning for his wrestling retirement tour, yet he is actively marketing his new movie, “Jackpot!” which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on August 15. However, for a man who is barely active in the ring now, Cena has been very forthright saying that his retirement tour will be his biggest concentration in 2025.

In a separate conversation with Comicbook.com, Cena emphasized that once his retirement tour concludes, he has no intention of returning to the ring, regardless of any financial incentives.

After leaving WWE, he will become a part of the company’s ambassadorial team which means that he will continue to be a part of WWE but he will not wrestle again. This is the same feeling that WWE fans all over the world have right now as he starts his wrestling retirement and a WWE fan wants to see John Cena wrestling one last time. Its final chapters are already laden with high emotion and sentimentality as a true farewell to one of WWE’s all-time greats.
