Khabib Nurmagomedov Solves His $3.3 Million Tax Debt

Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the greatest of all time, with an undefeated record. He faced serious tax problems in Russia. After solving that issue, he now knows how important it is to manage and solve problems outside of the Octagon. Because of these issues, Khabib was mocked a lot by people, including his famous rival Conor McGregor. McGregor said that he would buy Khabib's family house in Dagestan, but now Khabib has settled everything.

    302 Million Rubles in Taxes

Nurmagomedov has paid a $3.3 million tax debt and ensured that he stayed square with the Russian government. There is no legal action against him now, which is good news for the Dagestani fighter and his fans.

Earlier reports from the Russian news outlet Mash claimed that the Russian government found some issues in Khabib's documents. Because of this, the government seized his bank accounts and other assets. There were even rumors that the former UFC champion had left Russia to avoid getting in trouble with the authorities. However, now that his taxes have been paid, these rumors and speculations are likely to disappear soon.

    Problems Other than Taxes

The tax evasion issue isn't the only thing that's been troubling Khabib lately. In June, two cities in Dagestan were hit by te**orist attacks in a brutal act of violence. CNN reported that these attacks were likely carried out by Islamist extremists, with many targeting religious sites like synagogues and churches.

Surprisingly, it was also revealed that one of the five attackers found guilty was an MMA fighter named Ghadzimurad Kagirov, who was part of Eagles MMA. This led the FSB to investigate, and at last, they announced that they would thoroughly check all the gyms in Dagestan, with Eagles MMA being a primary focus.

    Conor Mocks Khabib Nurmagomedov

Nurmagomedov faced harsh criticism after this, even though his family and his people were targeted, especially by his UFC rival, Conor McGregor. With the tension between them still strong, ‘The Notorious’ seized the chance to call Khabib a "te**orist in serious debt." McGregor also accused Khabib Nurmagomedov of fleeing his country out of fear and not having enough money to pay back the government.

McGregor even went as far as to say he would give Khabib money if Khabib did push-ups for him. Besides all the things that Nurmagomedov went through in these few months, he did not give up and solved the problems like a real champion. Every champion has faced a lot of problems like this, but there are ways to solve them with knowledge and management.
