Exclusive Star Wars Outlaws Item Comes With Disney+ Subscription

Start the countdown! There are only a few weeks left before the release of Star Wars Outlaws, and to help gamers get even more excited about the game Ubisoft and Disney have announced an exclusive in-game reward for players in the US with a Disney+ Subscription!

Disney+ Exclusive

Players who have a Disney+ Subscription will be able to redeem an exclusive in-game item when the game drops on August 30, 2024. That's right! If you have Disney+, you will get an exclusive Nix Tail Wrappings cosmetic which is a Blue Wrap for Nix, the animal sidekick of the main protagonist Kay Vess.

In order to obtain the cosmetic, players must reside in the United States and must use the same email address for their Disney+ and Ubisoft accounts. Whether or not this is an attempt to increase subscriptions to their streaming platform or video game sales, I know that I will be getting my own subscription for this item!

The item itself doesn't add any effects or strengths to Nix, and it also doesn't really change much to the game except the look of Nix's tail. It's safe to say it's not the most groundbreaking exclusive item, but it definitely adds a sense of anticipation to the things that can be customized in the new game! Who knows, maybe this is just a taste of what other items Star Wars Outlaws has to offer throughout the game!

How To Redeem

Players who preordered Star Wars Outlaws can redeem the item now on the Ubisoft website here. While it's not the most exciting game item and not needed to play the game, it is definitely one of the more exclusive items as the reward is only able to be redeemed from the game's release until November 15, 2024. This offer is unfortunately not offered to players outside of the US, however, we can hold onto hope that there will be more cosmetics options for both Nix and Kay Vess throughout the game.

The First Open World Star Wars Game

Star Wars Outlaws is the first open-world game for the Star Wars franchise, and I think it's safe to say, the most anticipated game of 2024. Developed by Massive Entertainment, players will get to explore the Star Wars universe as Kay Vess set in the one-year gap between The Emperor Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Ubisoft has already announced the post-release roadmap of content for the new game including DLC content and a season pass for the game. The Standard, Gold, and Ultimate editions of Star Wars Outlaws are available for preorder now, and will be available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and via Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store for the PC.
