Jackson also had a chance, but Ederson made a crucial save. Lewis believed he scored a goal for Man City following a bit of chaos in the box. However, the referee deemed it a foul committed by Haaland on Levi Colwill. Chelsea fought hard to salvage a point at their home ground, but Man City displayed resilience and held their ground. Kovacic then sealed all three points for Man City with a shot from the edge of the area.
