MLS (Major League Soccer) has incredible growth of players especially for those who are especially from the US. Many soccer legends joined MLS to earn some big revenue, preparing themselves for an arguably feeble league just before bidding farewell from football. Hugo Lloris

The former Tottenham goalkeeper joined LAFC on 30th December as a first-choice goalkeeper. Earlier, he was known to make outstanding saves for Tottenham and he also led France to win the 2018 FIFA World Cup against Croatia. Unfortunately, he had no memorable trophies for his former team, and his brilliance and resilient form also secured his spot at the 2022 World Cup finals against Argentina.

After the terrible performance from France in the World Cup finals, it all went downhill for Hugo Lloris, as he left Tottenham after 12 long years, making over 400 appearances for the club and almost winning the UEFA Champions League in 2019 as they faced Liverpool but somehow lost. LAFC signed Lloris for $350,000 as a steal deal for a year or two after Lloris rejected deals from Saudi and Europe.

Olivier Giroud

Olivier Giroud is a player who needs no introduction. His style of play and his electric finishing has put people in awe as he is the top scorer for France. The 37-year-old signed for LAFC for a free transfer from the mighty Italian side, after his prolific events in European football. He has won lots of trophies (12) including the World Cup, Champions League and the Europa League. His quick sharpness in finishing also won him the 2017 Puskas Award.

Unfortunately, due to the defeat in the 2022 World Cup against Argentina, The Frenchman decided to leave Europe in 2024 due to his age, and now he decided to play for the MLS, as the league is beneficial for him to poach for a new striker. He is the complete embodiment of a perfect finisher, and due to that MLS is a better place for him. Giroud can be a lethal player in tough situations, it’s a new challenge for him to compete with an easy quest.

Marco Reus

The German midfielder Marco Reus has recently joined MLS side Los Angles Galaxy FC (LA Galaxy FC) as a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund. Reus can dictate the play and was an extremely vital part of the Dortmund squad. He rejected many big clubs in a difficult situation, just to prove his loyalty for Dortmund. He has been in for 12 years for the club and has also been a captain of his former side.

He has been extraordinary in tense situations, due to his loss in the Champions League finals against Real Madrid in 2024, Reus decided to finally break free of his curse by joining MLS.
