Taylor Swift recently gave her fans two gifts in one: a music video for her song "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart" and a behind-the-scenes look at the Eras Tour. Instead of a traditional music video, Swift chose a supercut of behind-the-scenes footage of her performing and rehearsing her record-breaking tour for the song. "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart" appears on her latest album The Tortured Poets Department, which was released in April.

Behind-The-Scenes Footage In The Music Video

On August 20, the "Cruel Summer" singer released the music video for her single "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart." The video shows what her record-breaking tour is like in real life. The video answered all of the burning questions Swift's fans had about how she sneaks around stadiums, such as confirming their suspicion that she gets into a cleaning cart and is then rolled backstage.

In low light, another part of the video shows what happens when she "dives" under the stage after her acoustic set. She jumps onto a plastic inflatable under the catwalk. Also, the video shows how Swift gets back on stage between sets in record time: she slides from one end of the stage to the other.

The music video shows Swift and her dancers rehearsing for the Eras Tour. Beginning in Glendale, Arizona in March 2023, the tour has taken her across the United States, as well as around the world to Mexico, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The pop star practices for the tour on sound stages, on the "Eras" set, under the stage, and backstage with her crew in several shots. Soon after the video's London premiere, fans shared clips of it on social media. "Oh, BTS Taylor, we can't wait for you," one fan wrote on X. Someone else wrote, "We are so ready!"

The Tour And The Tortured Poets' Department

"I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" is The Tortured Poets Department's second music video, following the debut of "Fortnight" with Post Malone shortly after the album's release. Lyrically, the song seems to focus on Swift continuing with her Eras Tour performances even as she's going through a rough time personally.

As the Eras tour continues, fans have been hoping to hear Swift announce Reputation (Taylor's Version). Though the singer's 131st Eras concert, IYKYK, featured no references to the re-recorded album, the London concert was still full of surprises for them, including special guests and debuts that fans didn't see coming. For instance, in The Tortured Poets' Department segment, Swift and Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine sang "Florida!!!" together live for the first time. The concert also featured an on-stage appearance from Swift's longtime producer, Jack Antonoff, during which Swift stated the songs she most enjoyed working with him on were on Reputation and Lover.

Wrapping Up: Taylor Swift's Next Steps

As shown by the music video for "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," Taylor Swift is rumored to be filming her record-breaking Eras Tour for another documentary movie that tells it all. Among the topics that could be discussed in the documentary are her 149 live shows, the realities of touring, her status as a pop music legend, and recent terrible events during her tour, like the attack in Southport and the terror threat in Vienna.

Swift is now on a two-month break from touring. Her North America tour will start again in October, with stops in Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto, and Vancouver. Swift said that the tour will end in Canada in December during her 100th Eras concert in June. Swift's current partner, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, was in a sketch on Swift's "Eras Tour" in June, right before she sang "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart" in London.
