Roman Reigns Mysteriously Absent from Upcoming WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns returned to WWE, WrestleMania, and reclaimed his throne of the Tribal Chief. Post that, everyone is looking forward to seeing Roman Reigns again in the ring, especially to assemble all his team and take revenge on Solo Sikoa. The latter claimed the throne of Reigns in his absence and pressured everyone to accept him as the Tribal Chief. Most importantly, fans are eager to see the matches of famous SuperStars like Brock Lesnar and the Rock. Brock unexpectedly appeared at an event and hinted at his return. Meanwhile, ‘The Rock’ will be back soon to accept the challenges that he received.

The Absence of Roman Reigns

To the shock of many, WWE has withdrawn Roman Reigns from the event of the 13th September SmackDown episode which is significant because it marks the show’s shift to the USA Network. Such unexpected changes have made the fans wonder to the extent of questioning, whether will Reigns be featured in the big episode. WWE has reshaped the event ads to a great deal, eradicating Reigns from the ‘Featured Superstars’ list where he was earlier endorsed. Further confusing the issue, a rising star Tiffany Stratton now occupies the main promotional poster instead of Reigns.

Roman Reigns Promoted on 9th August

This is a bit unexpected as Reigns has been promoted to ads for the September 13th episode since August 9th, making his absence quite noticeable. Now with the next SmackDown on a new network, soon the timing for the change has left many people asking ‘why’. Roman Reigns, who returned to WWE TV in a big way at SummerSlam, has been the main focus of everyone in the past episodes. But the fans are still wondering whether he shall be present on this Friday’s show as his name is not currently listed in the event adverts.

Final Thoughts

WWE will have something big planned for the ‘Tribal Chief‘. As they have already earned Millions and Millions of Views and Dollars, just with the return of Roman Reigns. So they won’t miss the opportunity to do that again. But they are trying to make it as big as possible. So they will be able to have an interesting match between Roman Reigns and his rivals but for now, WWE has done something, that was not expected by anyone.

Paul Heyman, also called the ‘Wise Man’, might also be returning to his old friend, Brock Lesnar.
