Dana White Calls Merab Dvalishvili 'Next Level Stupid'

Dana White asked recently, “Why would Merab Dvalishvili do that?” What was his question about? It was regarding Dvalishvili suffering a minor injury. It was to his head during training sessions on Tuesday. He had to have a few stitches. Subsequently, Dvalishvili shared about it on online platforms. He also said that despite suffering a minor injury, his upcoming fight is not in danger of being scrapped. He has 25 days of training left before his bantamweight title bout against Sean O’Malley at UFC 306.

Merab Dvalishvili Answers Dana White

Merab Dvalishivili told everyone that everything was fine. “Everything is good my friends,” he reportedly said on online platforms. “It’s happening all the time. This is nothing. I’m getting stitched up and make sure I can continue training, tonight, tomorrow, all week.” Clarifying the situation about his good health, he warned O’Malley that he’s in big trouble now. “I feel great,” Dvaslishvili sai. “O’Malley is in big trouble. This little cut is only going to make me stronger.”

Even though Dvalishvili said the cut wouldn’t change anything, White was still shocked. The UFC boss was annoyed that Dvalishvili posted such things on social media. “The whole world knows about Merab’s cut,” White reportedly said in an interview. “Our guys are so dumb, it’s next-level unbelievable. All the stuff I talk about boxing, what I will give boxing credit, when something happens in a camp, let me tell you what, it does not leak.” He showed his anger to UFC fighters and said, “Our guys can’t f–king wait to throw it up on social media. It’s a small cut. It’s no big deal, but needed to be posted.”

Sean O’Malley’s Reaction

O’Malley reacted to this on his social media and said that Merab must not pull out now. He was also annoyed by the little things that Dvalishvili posted on his social media. O’Malley said, “This little f–king rat better not pull out I swear to god.”

Following White’s comments, Dvalishvili released another video where he said that he had stitches and continued training. He’s still focused on UFC 306. White might have been even more furious that Dvalishvili published the post during UFC 306. Known as Riyadh Season Noche UFC, the event is being held in the Sphere in Las Vegas. It’s being labled as “the greatest live sporting event of all time.” As you would expect given the hefty ticket costs, White must be anxious that nothing goes wrong with the main event.

Final Thoughts
