Florida Panthers Preseason Game To Benefit Foundation

The Florida Panthers are almost back in action for the upcoming 2024-2025 NHL season to defend their Stanley Cup title. The Panthers will take on the Nashville Predators in a doubleheader preseason game at Amerant Bank Arena. Ticket admission proceeds to the doubleheader games will be donated to the Florida Panthers Youth Hockey Program.

Having all proceeds going to the Florida Panthers Foundation will help build the Panthers Youth hockey program to go to the next level. This will help youth hockey and the hockey industry in the future so kids can have a positive future.

Florida Panthers Foundation Benefits Youth Hockey

The Florida Panthers are big into giving back to the South Florida community and supporting the community around them. The Panthers Foundation has several programs that they are involved in and hold events throughout the NHL season.

For the Panthers first preseason game of the year, they will host the Nashville Predators and all tickets will be twenty dollars with parking included. pre-sale began yesterday and tickets to the general public will go on sale later today. Proceeds will benefit youth Hockey and local rinks around South Florida.

All around South Florida, the Panthers have seven rinks that offer at least one of the Florida Panthers hockey programs. These programs are Learn to Play, Adult Learn to Play and Girls Learn to Play. The Panthers also have Floorball programs in over 525 elementary, middle, and high schools in all three tri-counties. The Floorball programs give all the schools free equipment and teacher training. Floorball is a type of floor hockey played 5 v 5 and a goalkeeper. Floorball is generally played indoors. Floorball is popular in Sweden and other European countries but is becoming popular in the U.S.

The Florida Panthers are active in the community to provide support to children and adults of all ages. The Florida Panthers Foundation has programs from learning how to play hockey, to funding cancer research and feeding the hungry all across South Florida. Since the Panthers have so many programs for the community there are many opportunities as a fan to be involved with the team. This helps kids get more involved in hockey and the community.

The Florida Panthers will begin the preseason on September 22 and will start the regular season on Oct 2 against the Boston Bruins. Florida defeated Boston in six games in the second round of the NHL Playoffs last season. The Panthers will be ready to defend their title and make a run for the playoffs again this year. They are looking to be the first back-to-back champions since the Florida Panthers did so in 2020 and 2021.
