With an additional seven minutes added, Brighton attacked frantically, and their effort came in successfully when Simon Adingra played a beautiful cross to Joao Pedro, who headed the ball right into the left corner to win the game for Brighton & Hove Albion.

Brighton has now won their first two opening games with six points on the table; they proceed to the top of the premier league. For Manchester United, this defeat raises extreme questions about their contemporary form and the direction of the team under Erik ten Hag.
