AC Milan’s Performance Against Torino

The San Siro Stadium filled on a Saturday afternoon for their first match of the season. AC Milan played against Torino in a game that ended in a draw. And again in the 67th minute, another cross was made, headed in by the Torino striker, giving Torino a 2-0 lead against Milan.

A moment was captured in the very sound when both fans strengthened the stadium with a wave of noise for support. Milan only needed ten minutes of the last minute to get back on the lead. Alvaro Morata sending the ball into the target area was perfect, leaving the goalkeeper unexpecting and giving AC Milan a chance to get back into the game. The San Siro fans burst into celebrations, even at the last minute, to show great support for their team.

AC Milan was not a team whose feats were by the wayside. They quickly replied with another goal right before the final whistle. It was a fabulous shot in the center of the post by Noah Okafor, with AC Milan fans cheering as they equalized the game. Come the second half, with both sides playing intensely and there being headway in the 82nd minute when Marcus Thuram scored a goal that was deemed offside by the assistant referee, but VAR checking called in the goal. Inter Milan was likely to snatch a victory. And then, in the 93rd minute, Inter committed a handball in the box, which led to a penalty and was scored by the rebound from the keeper, ending the game with a draw at the end of the final whistle.

Implication on Future Matches

After the final whistle blew, both teams were left with a 2-2 draw, which put them in a mixed state. In the case of both Milans, the fans’ disappointment was visible on their faces since they could not claim maximum marks in front of their home fans. They had expected a good start to the season, but being forced to leave one point on the pitch was painful.

On the other hand, the other teams, Torino and Genoa fans, cheered all the more after the game as their team showed a lot of resilience while playing from behind. This win over the bitterest of the enemy is always a thing on which one can build their arguments because the ability to control the trend in the league, which is so competitive as Serie A, is accomplished when you do so.
