All Dragon Age: The Veilguard Main NPCs for 2024

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is the latest addition to the Dragon Age franchise and is expected to be released on October 31, 2024. This Action RPG is being developed by Bioware and published by Electronic Arts. Gamescom 2024 has revealed some brand-new trailers for the game and thanks to the new information we now know all the new companions that will be in this sequel to Dragon Age: Inquisition

Companions in Dragon Age games are a core mechanic to these games and allow the player to have NPCs as sidekicks. Each companion comes with their abilities and a player can have three of them at a time. Each has a different personality and objectives and may come with questlines of their own. In The Veilguard, there are seven companions, who will aid Rook, the main character in his quest. These seven characters are divided into three categories.

Warriors

There are two Warriors companions present in Dragon Age: The Veilguard who are combat specialists.

• Darvin: Darvin is an Elf warrior who has an affiliation with the Grey Warden faction. He is a ruthless and charming fighter who has made his name as a monster hunter.
• Taash: Taash is a female Qunari warrior who is affiliated with the Lords of Fortune. She is a dragon hunter who thrives to live a life full of adventure and risks.

Rogues

There are two Rogue companions present in Dragon Age: The Veilguard who specializes in deceptive combat.

• Lace Harding: Lace Harding is a female dwarf who is affiliated with the Inquisition. This dwarven scout has appeared in previous titles and brings back her positive outlook in this latest installment. She controls the combat with a ready bow as well as magic abilities.
• Lucanis Dellamorte: Lucanis Dellamorte is a Human master assassin who is affiliated with Antivan Crows. He descends from the bloodline of House of Crows which is a criminal organization infamous throughout Thedas.

Mages

Three mages will act as companions in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. They will aid the Rook thanks to their sorceries.

• Bellara Lutare: Bellara Lutare is a female elf who is affiliated with the Veil Jumpers faction. She is obsessed with uncovering ancient secrets and possesses a gauntlet that can turn into a bow.
• Emmrich Volkarin: Emmirich Volkarin is a Human male who is affiliated with Mortailtasi. This necromancer belongs to Nevarra’s Mourn Watch and is one of the companions who has an assistant of his own.
• Neve Gallus: Neve Gallus is a female human who is affiliated with Shadow Dragons. She is fighting for a better future while working as a private detector and a member of the Shadow Dragons.
