Marcus Rashford had a pretty rough season last year at Manchester United, in 33 games, 26 of which he started he had 7 goals and 2 assists for 9 G+A, down massively from his 22-23 season in which he had 17 goals and 5 assists in 35 games, 32 which he started. Marcus Rashford was also left off the England 2024 Euros squad, by then England Boss Gareth Southgate, for Marcus missing out it was as simple as he wanted players in better form.

“He’s experienced enough to deal with this and once he scores one, then the goals will come.”

Jadon Sancho is back in the Manchester United squad this season, after leaving on loan for Borussia Dortmund last year because of a fallout with Ten Hag, now stuff seems to be resolved at least enough that he’s back into the team.

Marcus Rashford should start at least at first for Manchester United, he’s got a history of good seasons at the club, in 19-20 he also had 17 goals, in 31 starts and 7 assists, 31 G+A is the highest of his career so far, he’s got the talent to do that and Ten Hag believes in him.
