Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb To Miss First 4 Games Of Season

Cleveland Browns fans will have to keep their hopes in check. That’s because four of the season’s games will run without star running back Nick Chubb in the lineup. Huge blow to the team and a disappointment for all awaiting to see Chubb back on his feet in full strength.

An injury to his left knee happened last season during a Week 2 Monday night game against the Steelers. The injury was serious enough to end his season prematurely, and unfortunately, its effects are still keeping him off the field.

Season Opener and Early Schedule

The Browns open their season on Sept. 8 by hosting the Dallas Cowboys, before hitting the road to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Las Vegas Raiders and coming back home to face the New York Giants. Neither of those games will include Nick Chubb.

Chubb will start the 2024 season on reserve, Physically unable to perform. He will be out for at least the first four games, which highlights the significant recovery he is undergoing. What the team has done only shows its commitment to getting Chubb back on the pitch when he is fully recovered.
