Black Myth: Wukong – The Three Bells Questline

Black Myth: Wukong is a brand-new Action RPG with an amazing open world that is full of secrets and enemy bosses. This popular game is based on the classic Chinese novel “Journey to the West” and follows the story of Sun Wukong. It features amazing customization options as well as pieces of equipment that players can use for their journey. This article will go over The Three Bell questline which is the earliest questline that players can do.

How to Start the Quest

This quest is available in Chapter 1 of Black Myth: Wukong and requires players to interact with three massive bells scattered throughout the Chapter 1 area. Ringing all three bells opens up a secret area in the Chapter called Ancient Guanyin Temple. This is an optional quest and players can progress through the game without completing it. However, completing it will reward players with a Fireproof Mantle Vessel which is a very nice thing to have.

Each of the bells requires players to defeat a respective boss in Black Myth: Wukong. After the boss has been defeated, players will find the bell in the vicinity. For the first Bell, players must start from the Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest Shrine. From there travel in a straight line and once you cross the bridge turn left. After walking for a while, you will come across an optional boss called Guangzhi. After defeating the boss, players will see a bell at the end of the encounter, and ring it.

To reach the second Bell, players must travel from the Snake Trail Shrine in the Bamboo Grove. From there move up the stairs and jump down towards right from the bridge. Travel in a straight line and then turn right and players will reach another encounter. This arena will feature the boss fight of Guangmou. After defeating the boss move up the staircase and you will find another bell.

For the third bell, travel to the Marsh of White Mist Shrine in the Bamboo Grove. Once at the shrine move straight left and players will eventually reach another arena. This arena will feature The WhiteClad Noble boss fight. After defeating the boss, players will see a cave which they can travel through. In the cave, they will come across some enemies, a hanging body as well as the final bell.

The Final Step

After ringing all three bells, players will be teleported to a brand-new location in Black Myth: Wukong called Ancient Guanyin Temple and there will be a chest as well as a Shrine. There will also be another arena in which players will fight against the Elder Jinchi boss. This is the final step of the questline and after defeating this boss players will be teleported back to the original location. Here players can now interact with the hanging dead body and they will receive the Fireproof Mantle Vessel.
