Cong knocked out Victoria Leonardo within 62 secs. This was the fastest knockout and the most successful one for Wang as the fighter who made it to the UFC as a flyweight. It was also the second-fastest knockout in the history of the UFC women’s flyweight division. Cong thought she would not receive the bonus, so she posted this on Instagram after the fight.

"Wake up and find out there is no Performance of the Night. Next fight you will see a more spectacular finish UFC. Don’t play with Joker again!"

Dana White's Response to Cong

The bonus for Cong was delayed because White was not at the UFC APEX at the moment. But he watched the fights and made sure Wang understood that she would receive her deserved $50,000 bonus. White replied to her post on Instagram and clarified everything.

"I was out of town and watched the fight at Mystique Boston on TV. You looked AMAZING. I’m adding another Performance of the Night bonus for u. Congrats u get $50k"

This is not the first time White has felt compelled to award a bonus. Fortunately, the CEO of the UFC happened to witness Wang’s fighting and concluded that she deserved the bonus. The win took Wang’s mixed martial arts record to 6-0, and she also boasts an extensive kickboxing background, which includes a win over former UFC bantamweight champion Valentina Shevchenko in 2015.
