This is confirmed after being placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. Beckham, who joined the Dolphins in March, has been sidelined throughout training camp and preseason due to an undisclosed injury.

According to ESPN sources, the Dolphins anticipated the possibility of Beckham’s delayed debut when they signed him. Despite this setback, the team is optimistic that a patient recovery process will enable Beckham to make a significant impact later in the season.

Dolphins Who Can Fill The Void

Odell Beckham Jr is scheduled to miss matchups against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks, and Tennessee Titans. Aside from the Bills, these secondaries ranked mediocre among pass defenses league-wide. The Miami Dolphins passing attack will likely fare well against those teams regardless thanks to Tyreek Hill.

In 2023 Odell racked up 565 yards, his most since 2019. Given the history of Odell Beckham Jr. as a five-time 1,000-yard receiver and career-long playmaker, the Dolphins’ depth receivers must find some production to alleviate his absence.

Although currently on the injury list, Erik Ezukanma and River Cracraft will find substantial snap counts when they see action. Rookie Malik Washington may find early season opportunity as well given the Dolphins banged up receiving room.
