Hansi Flick ‘Job’s not Done’ Despite Their 2-1 Win

Hansi Flick’s side came back for 1 zero down to subdue Rayo Vallecano in their midweek La Liga game. Barcelona struggled in the first half against the host. Hansi Flick introduced their new signing Dani Olmo. The Spaniard who had been signed weeks back had some minor issues with registration. In the end, the Catalans had to sell Ilkay Gundogan to ensure the registration of Dani Olmo.

The 26-year-old came in and changed the game giving the visitors more effectiveness going forward. In the end, Barcelona won 2-1 thanks to goals from Olmo and Pedri.

Pedri’s Comments after the game

He spoke concerning Olmo’s influence in the game: “I had been talking to Rafa [Raphinha] at halftime about the balls in behind their backline, so I’m happy it worked. I’m happy with the win and to play with Olmo, which I’ve wanted to do for a while”, He continued to talk about his compatriot’s influence, “What you’ve seen from the outside is that Olmo gives us so much calm. Pedri also spoke about the coach’s style. He said: “It is normal in the first few matches to adapt to what the coach asks.
