Black Myth: Wukong – Every Epic Weapon

Black Myth: Wukong is a brand-new Action RPG released on 20 August 2024. This game is rooted in Chinese Mythology and is inspired by the classical Chinese Novel called “Journey to the West”. This game follows the journey of Sun Wukong as he fights against amazing bosses. The game also provides players with a ton of customization features and RPG elements. There are various Staffs in the game with their unique effect adding to the build crafting options.

Epic Weapons

There are a total of 5 Epic Staffs in Black Myth: Wukong. Each of the Staff comes with its own rating as well as unique effects. There is one basic default Staff in the game and players can later upgrade it to a better version through defeating bosses and gathering materials. Here is everything you need to know about the weapons.

Chitin Staff

Chitin Staff has an Attack rating of 80 and also comes with a Critical Hit chance of 8 percent. It has a unique effect while allowing the use of Focus points after a successful Charged Heavy attack to recover health points. This weapon can be crafted after defeating The Second Sister boss fight.

Chu-Bai Spear

Chu-Bai Spear comes with an Attack rating of 75 but has an extremely powerful unique effect. It allows the weapon to integrate spear techniques into the Light Attack combo and allows attacks in Thrust Stance to deal additional damage. This Staff is related to the questline and can be crafted after completing the Pagoda Realm’s Prisoner questline.

Kang-Jin Staff

Kang-Jin Staff is obtainable in Chapter 3 of Black Myth: Wukong and comes with an Attack rating of 70. It also has a Critical Hit chance of 6 percent. It has a unique effect that changes Punishing Downpour so that it now deals Thunder damage to enemies instead of an area of effect damage.

Loongwreathe Staff

The questline for obtaining Loongwreathe Staff starts from Chapter 2 of Black Myth: Wukong, where players obtain Loong Scales after defeating The First Prince of Flowing Sand. It has an Attack rating of 70 but comes with a unique effect allowing the damage dealt by Pillar Stance attacks to be increased.

Rat Sage Staff

Rat Sage Staff is obtained after defeating the final boss of Chapter 2 called “Yellow Wind Sage”. It has an attack rating of 66 as well as a Critical Hit chance of 7 percent. It has an interesting unique effect that allows the weapon to have a higher attack range and damage. It also allows the fourth move of the Light attack combo or Mobile Staff spins to create whirlwinds of sands that deal massive damage to nearby enemies.
