A month before Perry’s death, the doctor and Peri met up to exchange $4500 for at least four vials of ketamine.

Plasencia is charged with seven counts of distributing ketamine, along with two charges for falsifying Matthew Perry’s death records. Plasencia helped Chavez get the ketamine to Perry.
A trial has been set for October 2024 for each individual. Dr. Mark Chavez has announced that he will plead guilty to the charges and will receive 10 years in prison for his crime.
