AEW All Out 2024: Stipulation For Willow Nightingale vs Kris Statlander

At AEW All Out 2024, Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale will face off, possibly for the last time, after a blood-thirsty feud going on for months. Due to the high-level intensity of this rivalry, their one-on-one match at the upcoming PPV will have a stipulation attached to it.

This stipulation came after the two had a mixed tag team match at AEW All In 2024, in which the winner decides to choose the stipulation for this upcoming singles match. With Willow Nightingale and Tomohiro Ishii defeating Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway, she got to choose the match type for this upcoming contest.

What Did Willow Nightingale Choose As The All Out 2024 Stipulation?

AEW All Out 2024 will take place in Chicago, Illinois, in the NOW Arena on September 7th, 2024. With that in mind, Nightingale announced that her match with Statlander would be a Chicago Street Fight. This is not the first time AEW has done this, as they like to brand many match stipulations based on the city that the event is in.

A street fight is a match that has no disqualification, meaning anybody is allowed to get involved, and there are essentially no rules. It’s one of the most dangerous match types in wrestling, and with that in mind, this feud will likely end after this All-Out match.

It’s important to note that even though Kris won her eliminator match for Willow’s CMLL World Women’s Championship, the title won’t be on the line. However, that could very well change in the upcoming weeks, and Nightingale may be forced to defend her title at the PPV.

Who Will Win This Match?

Since this could be the end of this intense rivalry, it will be a very important result for whoever the winner of this match may be. Both of these women could use the win as they are each set to be top stars in the upcoming years and will likely find themselves challenging each other for the main AEW Women’s World Championship one day.

With the CMLL World Women’s Championship not being defended, it may lead to a Statlander win, which is why Willow’s title was not on the line. This has been done numerous times to give the champion a loss without taking their title away.

With their singles match scores being 1-1, this result could go either way as neither has been controlling the feud. However, Nightingale did win the tag team match at All Out 2024 and also defeated Kris in another tag team match at Forbidden Door 2024, which means that Statlander will likely win this feud-ending match.

What’s Next For Both Nightingale and Statlander?

With this rivalry seemingly coming to an end, it’s a good time to look at what’s next for both Statlander and Nightingale. They have been involved with each other since late 2023, so it will be the first time in nearly a year that they will be going their separate ways.

No matter what the result is, the former AEW TBS Champion, Willow Nightingale, will still be the CMLL World Women’s Champion. She will still be defending that title on CMLL, AEW, and possibly NJPW shows considering the partnership. She could hold that title for a a while considering that the winners of the championship have held for a long time, which is shown by the fact that there have only been five champions since 2016.

As for Kris Statlander, if she wins this feud then she will likely be set up for a future AEW Women’s World Championship shot. She is already a former AEW TBS Champion, and it looks as if she’s already ahead of that title at this point in her career. She has proven in the past that she is a name in the women’s division, and should be put into world title talks very soon.
