Girls' Singles: Stojsavljevic vs. Sonobe

In the girl's singles, Britain's Mika Stojsavljevic, 15, will face Japan's Wakana Sonobe. Stojsavljevic was one of the surprises when she had a sensational win over American Iva Jovic 6-0, 3-6, 6-3. She has been faring well and is now considered one of the frontrunners for the title. Wakana Sonobe advanced to the final with a victory over Mingge Xu, by the look of things. It has all the makings of a final between two young guns with so much to prove.

US Open Doubles Finals

In the boys' doubles final, the top-seeded Sakamoto and Maxim Mrva go up against Denis Petak and Flynn Thomas. The latter team moved forward via a big upset over the No. 4-seeded team, Thomas Faurel and Luca Preda.

The final of the girls' doubles will be contested by two teams that were not seeded at the top. Malak El Allami of Morocco and Norway's Emily Sartz-Lunde face Julie Pastikova and Julia Stusek. El Allami and Sartz-Lunde progressed to this final against the Czech pair Tereza Krejcova and Eliska Tichackova, while Pastikova and Stusek registered an enthralling come-from-behind victory in the first set of their semifinal.
