On the other hand, Bona is decent in defense and average in offense. During the summer league exhibit, Bona displayed some athleticism by making heavy dunks and blocks. He averaged 5.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks per game.
Before being drafted in the NBA, Bona played at UCLA, where he averaged 12.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.8 blocks, and 1.1 steals in the 2023-24 season. Also, Adem won Defensive Player of the Year in college during the 2023-24 season. However, the Philly rookie never made a three-point attempt during his college years. Therefore, Bona’s desire to perfect his shots from downtown could make him a complete player and a replica of Joel Embid.
