Momonga's companions were all originally NPCs made by Satoru and his friends. They include the succubus Albedo, the vampire Shalltear, and the elf twins Aura and Mare. Being central characters, they entertain audiences with their unique personalities and actions. Watching them makes it easy for people to forget that they are the villains. Overlord The Sacred Kingdom has a talented team behind its creation. Produced by Madhouse, Inc., Naoyuki Ito, helmer of the series, will direct the film. Satoshi Tasaki will serve as character designer and chief animation director. Illustrator So-bin and composer Shuji Katayama are also part of the production team. Most of these individuals work on the series, so the film is in good hands. The animated movie will premiere in select American and Canadian theaters on November 8th.
