Destiny 2: Wild Style God Roll Guide

Nightfalls are one of the most challenging activities in Destiny 2, especially the Grandmaster version. It is a three-player activity that revamps the strikes by making them more difficult by increasing enemies’ health as well as different modifiers. Completing these rewards players with Nightfall-exclusive weapons. Grandmaster Nightfalls provides the Adept version of these weapons. Wild Style is one Nightfall exclusive weapon that is in rotation in Episode: Echoes of The Final Shape.

Wild Style is a Double Fire Grenade Launcher, and it is the first one with Solar affinity. These Grenade Launchers are extremely good in PvE thanks to the extra damage they do compared to normal Grenade Launchers. It is not popular in The Crucible and has a very certain playstyle in PvP. Players mostly want this weapon for PvE as it comes with various utility options.

This weapon comes with 12 perk options. In the right column, we have Grave Robber, Reconstruction, Enlightened Action, Stats for All, Danger Zone, and Envious Assassin. In the right column, we have Bait and Switch, Vorpal Weapon, Collective Action, Surrounded, One for All, and Incandescent.

PvE God Roll

For PvE, players mostly want to use such Grenade Launchers for Blinding nearby enemies or chunking down high-health combatants. For barrels, players must go with the option of Hard Launch with a Reload Speed Masterwork. Now if players want Wild Style to blind nearby enemies so that they do not attack the players, they must go with Disorienting Grenades.

With Disorienting Grenades, players must go with Reconstruction in the left column. This perk allows the weapon to slowly reload itself over time to double the magazine capacity. In the right column, Vorpal Weapon is the best choice with blinding as it just provides a 15 percent damage boost. This perk combination goes well with the gameplay loop, as players can fire a Grenade Launcher shot, blind nearby enemies, and deal damage with other weapons.

If players do not want Disorienting Grenades, they must go with Spike Grenades as they increase the weapon’s damage. Reconstruction and Envious Assassin are both good perk options in the left column as they boost the weapon’s magazine. In the right column, Incandescent is appealing but it is not efficient on a Grenade Launcher and better options exist. Vorpal Weapon is once again the best option here as it just provides a straight-up 15 percent damage boost.

Conclusion

Wild Style is the first Double Fire Grenade Launcher that has Solar synergy in Destiny 2. It supports the playstyle of either blinding nearby enemies or dealing with quick DPS. The combination of Reconstruction with Vorpal Weapon works very well in both scenarios. It is a unique weapon that every Guardian should consider having in his vault.
