TJ Watt looked like one of the best defensive players in the NFL.
To flip to the offensive side of the ball, without quarterback Russell Wilson, Justin Fields was the starter against Atlanta. For the game, he was 17/23 passing for 156 yards and added 14 carries for 57 yards. For George Pickens, he has a great game, dominating single coverage with six catches for 85 yards. On the ground, Najee Harris has a solid performance with 20 carries for 70 yards with his longest rush being 20 yards. They won the game 18-10 against the Falcons without scoring a touchdown, the last time they did that was in the 2017 divisional round against the Kansas City Chiefs. Overall, it is a team that is going into Denver with momentum.

The Denver Broncos are coming off losing 26-20 in Bo Nix's first game in Seattle last week. This game was weird on many levels. At times the Denver defense looked solid as it was last season, then there were times that they would get gashed by Kenneth Walker. Nix was underwhelming in his first game. He threw the ball 42 times while completing 26 passes for 138 yards, which is only 3.3 passing yards per attempt. It was his first game so it isn't something, but it's not nothing. On the ground, it was running back by a committee, Jaleel McLaughlin and Javonte Williams combined for 18 carries for 50 yards.
To deep dive into the Broncos' defense, they held the Seahawks to 4/12 on 3rd down, forced two turnovers, and forced two safeties. They also sacked Geno Smith twice in Sunday's game. Denver struggled in this game against the run, allowing 20 carries for 103 yards to Kenneth Walker and four carries for 30 yards to quarterback Geno Smith, including a 34-yard touchdown. The Denver Broncos must be better this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers because they will pound the ball and be a physical team on offense if allowed to.

I predict the Pittsburgh Steelers will defeat the Denver Broncos and cover the three-point spread. I was not impressed by Denver last week. They got mauled at times in their game against Seattle. What do we know about the Steelers? They are going to run the ball and run the ball until you prove you can stop the run. Bo Nix will be overwhelmed against a Steelers' pass rush that looked phenomenal last week, although they only sacked Kirk Cousins twice. TJ Watt can wreck this game just as he did last week. Lastly, Mike Tomlin has a 24-6 record vs rookie quarterbacks.
