The club aims to extend Vlahovic’s contract until 2028 or 2029, but the player is reportedly taking his time to assess his options under the new coach.

Talks are expected to resume later in the year, possibly ahead of the January transfer window. Meanwhile, Arsenal is reportedly monitoring the situation and could make a move for Vlahovic during the summer of 2025. The Gunners currently lack a traditional striker, relying on Kai Havertz in a central role, and Vlahovic’s physical presence could provide a boost to their title challenge against Manchester City.
