    Key Stats

    Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns are coming off losing to the New York Giants 21-15. The Browns' offense has been abysmal all season long. They have yet to score more than 17 points through the first three games. Deshaun Watson has been dreadful, he has yet to throw for 200 yards in a game and is the most sacked quarterback per game, giving up 5.3 sacks per game.

This offense is bottom 7 in any metric you want to use. It has been a tough season for a Browns' team that was hopeful coming into the season. However, there is still time for them to turn it around.

The Browns' defense, on the other hand, has been solid to keep Cleveland in these games. Led by Myles Garrett, this defense is 20th in points allowed per game (22.3), 15th in passing yards allowed per game (195.7), 13th in rushing yards allowed per game (113.7), and 11th in sacks (9).

If there is a positive outlook so far this season, it's that the Browns can play defense and they should be better as the season progresses. In back-to-back weeks, they haven't allowed a quarterback to throw for more than 236 yards.

    Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to bounce back from losing last week against the Carolina Panthers. Their offense has picked up over the past two weeks after scoring 22 and 23 points in consecutive weeks. Vegas is ranked 4th in passing yards per game with 244.7 and dead last in rushing yards per game with 51.

That is due to them falling behind early and abandoning the running game. Gardner Minshew has been solid with 249 passing yards per game which is 7th in the NFL, and 747 which is 6th in the NFL. He has played above his skis through three games.

The Raiders' defense has been below average outside of Maxx Crosby. Although he is questionable for this game, he is second in the NFL in tackles for loss per game (1.7). We know he is a game wrecker.

As a whole, they rank 27th in points allowed per game with 27, 23rd in passing yards allowed per game (226), 29th in rushing yards allowed per game (152.7), and 29th in takeaways per game with .3. The Las Vegas Raiders will be without Marcus Epps in this game who is out with a knee injury.

    Prediction

The Las Vegas Raiders are going to beat the Cleveland Browns in this game and cover the spread. I don't believe that DeShaun Watson can return to the player he was in Houston. It looks like he is regressed beyond repair. Also, the Browns' offensive line is riddled with injuries.

They won't be able to get it to second/third and manageable to make it easier for Watson, it'll be a recipe for disaster. For the Raiders' offense, they'll finally be able to play with a lead and get their rushing attack going in this game and Myles Garrett is questionable with a foot/Achilles/thigh injury that kept him out of practice this past Wednesday.

    Final Pick

    Las Vegas Raiders -1.5 (-115)
