Bam Adebayo is entering his 8th season for the Miami Heat. Adebayo has been one of those players that has been close to blossoming to that next level over these last few seasons. Bam is one of those stellar defenders on the low block who can guard multiple positions and can bring a different element to the offensive side if allowed to do so. Here’s a look at Bam’s 2023-24 production along with his 2024 Paris Olympics performance as well.

Bam Adebayo averaged 19.3 points per game, 10.4 rebounds per game, 3.9 assists per game, 1.1 steals per game, and 0.9 blocks per game last season for the Heat. Adebayo made the All-Defensive First Team for the first time in his career, while he finished third in the Defensive Player of the Year race behind Rudy Gobert and Victor Wembanyama. “Bam Bam” showed that he is one of those all-around stars in this league as he was also selected for his second-straight All-Star appearance last year. Adebayo was also a part of the USA team in the Paris Olympics.

In the Paris Olympics, Bam Adebayo averaged 6.0 points per game, 3.7 rebounds per game, and 1.3 assists per game. Adebayo’s Olympics was highlighted by an 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks performance against South Sudan in the second game of the Group Stage as he was mainly the backup to Joel Embiid in the Olympics. Bam should have a productive season this upcoming season as he will most likely be the most productive Heat member in Fantasy this season. Here’s a look at his 2024-25 Projections.

ESPN is projecting Bam Adebayo to be the 36th-ranked player in their Rotisserie scoring metrics for fantasy this upcoming season. Here’s the stat line projection for Bam this upcoming from ESPN: 20.0 points per game, 10.4 rebounds per game, 3.8 assists per game, 1.2 steals per game, and 1.2 blocks per game. These projections for Adebayo see an uptick in production from his 2023-24 season and could be possible for Adebayo because it could be seen as his team now with the uncertain future of Jimmy Butler.

Miami has a strong team with Adebayo, Butler, and Tyler Herro as the three best options, but still might need to make a move to be true contenders after the offseasons that Philadelphia and New York had to try and keep up with the defending champion Celtics. Miami has a culture to make another Finals appearance, but it’s going to take a possible huge leap from Adebayo to make it happen this season.

Final Thoughts

Bam Adebayo is probably one of the top centers to target in the redraft format after Wembanyama, Nikola Jokic, and Anthony Davis. I love Adebayo’s ceiling more than I do Davis’s ceiling personally because of the injuries to Davis in the past. If you can get Bam in the third to fourth round in your redraft leagues I would snatch that up quickly. Bam Adebayo should also help you make a good amount of money in the DFS scene as well this upcoming season.
