Destiny 2: Zealot’s Reward God Roll Guide

With the launch of Episode Revenant, Destiny 2 reprised the Garden of Salvation Raid. This reprisal has led to the weapons of the Raid being able to get brand-new perks, a new Origin Trait, and are also made Craftable. Zealot’s Reward is a Fusion Rifle from this Raid and has some amazing perks now. These weapons are now also able to roll with a new Origin Trait called Photoinhibition. This allows the weapons to deal bonus damage to enemies’ shields. Destroying the shield of enemies also disorients them. Destroying the shield with a matching elemental affinity also disorients nearby enemy combatants.

Zealot’s Reward Overview

Zealot’s Reward is a Rapid-Fire Frame Fusion Rifle that has Void affinity. It is one of the best-feeling Fusion Rifles in the game. It has now access to perks which makes it amazing in both PvE and PvP sandbox. It is extremely stable in The Crucible and has perks that allow it to deal amazing damage in PvE.

In the left column, this weapon has access to perk options of Destabilizing Rounds, Lead from Gold, Subsistence, Under Pressure, Feeding Frenzy, Attrition Orbs, and Auto-Loading Holster. In the right column, the perks available are Reservoir Burst, One for All, Kickstart, Successful Warm-Up, Controlled Burst, Closing Time, and Rampage.

PvE God Roll

For PvE, it is important to boost the Range of Fusion Rifles as they can face some serious damage falloff. Players should go with Smallbore as the Barrel perk, Liquid Coils for extra damage in PvE, and a Reload Speed Masterwork. In the left column, Lead from Gold and Auto-Loading Holster are the best possible perk options. Auto-Loading Holster automatically reloads the weapon when it is not equipped for a short time.

Lead from Gold is a great utility perk that allows the weapon to gain ammo from Heavy ammo as well. In the right column, Controlled Burst is the best possible damage-dealing perk for this weapon. It will allow Zealot's Reward to gain more damage and a faster Charge Time when landing all the shots in a burst.

PvP God Roll

For The Crucible, players again want to boost the Range of Zealot’s Reward as high as possible. This can be achieved by using Smallbore as the Barrel perk, Projection Fuse as the Magazine perk, and Range Masterwork. In the left column, Under Pressure is the clear choice for this weapon. It increases the Stability and Accuracy of the weapon when the magazine is low. Under Pressure also synergizes well with Closing Time in the right column. This perk allows the weapon to get bonus Range, Accuracy, and Handling when the magazine is low. This perk combination is extremely deadly for a Fusion Rifle and will allow it to score kills with extreme ease.
