Shonda Marsh is a dedicated healthcare professional with a career spanning nearly three decades. She worked as a registered respiratory therapist for nearly 30 years before retiring in 2023 and moving to Patient Experience Management at UTHealth East Texas Physicians.

A proud graduate of John Tyler High's Class of 1992, Ms. Marsh pursued higher education with determination and excellence.

After receiving an Associate in Respiratory Therapy from Tyler Junior College, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Her academic journey continued with a Master of Healthcare Administration from Walden University, where she is currently a doctoral candidate at the College of Healthcare Administration-DHA program.Ms. Marsh's professional affiliations reflect her commitment to the healthcare field.

She is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the American Heart Association's Circle of Red. Additionally, she is involved with Women @Ardent and is a founding member of her organization’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee.

Her dedication to fostering inclusive environments extends to her role on the board of The Evie Effect, where she serves as the Director of Cultural Belonging.
