Towanda, Pa. — Family and friends of a man who has gone missing in the Wysox/Towanda area are asking for help to locate him.

Shane Furman, 35, has been missing since June 19. He is approximately 5'7" to 5'9", with brown hair and some facial hair. He was last seen exiting a moving vehicle, wearing pants, no shirt, shoes, and a baseball cap. He does not have a phone or wallet on him.

"Shane may not be in his right mind due to the effects of some psychiatric medication," according to a post. "If you see him please don't be afraid to call out his name and tell him his daughter needs to know he's okay," the post read.

Friends and family are asking residents in the Wysox/Towanda area, even as far north as Elmira, to check buildings, sheds, and fields. A search party planned to look for him Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. from Riverfront Park in Towanda.

If you see Shane, please call 570-512-0402, 570-637-4984, or 570-250-0199.
