Laurel Health opens new dental office in Towanda

Towanda, Pa. — The Laurel Health Centers healthcare system has expanded dental services in Bradford County, adding a new office space.

A Laurel Health dental office will replace dental care currently offered through Bradford County Dental at the Progress Plaza building in Towanda.

A new doctor will begin providing care in place of retiring Dr. David Redding.

Laurel Health will launch its new practice this July. Anyone with a standing appointment scheduled by the former office will be contacted to confirm their information and update the appointment if needed.

The Laurel Dental team has been hard at work updating the space and preparing a new dental team. In July, Laurel Dental staff will begin seeing patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in Suite 6 of the Progress Plaza building, located at 1 Elizabeth Street in Towanda.

The phone number will remain the same: 570-265-2069. Over the coming months, the team plans to ramp up services to offer care more days per week.

Laurel Dental offices accept a wide variety of dental insurances and offer a sliding fee program to income-eligible patients to help with costs. Payment is accepted by check, credit card, debit card, and cash.

The office will be staffed by certified public health dental hygienists, who are specially trained to independently provide cleanings and basic dental services like x-rays and sealants. If a referral is needed for a complex procedure, the Progress Plaza office will coordinate the patient’s care to make the referral process seamless. Patients may see a Bradford-based Laurel dentist for complex dental services at the Laurel Dental offices on York Avenue in Towanda and 45 Mud Creek Rd. in Troy, PA.
