X-Golf to open in Pittsford Plaza in the fall

PITTSFORD, N.Y. (WROC) — A new golf simulator and bar experience business is coming to Pittsford: X-Golf. This will be the chain’s first location in New York outside of Long Island. The next closest locations of X-Gold by drive time are Cleveland and Pittsburgh.

The chain is known for curating experiences with both golf simulators — this location will have eight — with a bar and a pub menu, all under one roof.

Additionally, X-Golf utilizes an auto-teeing system, and you can use the app to track your stats and be entered into national competitions.

This is a 7,000 sq. ft. Location between Five Below and Lacrosse Unlimited.

Franchise owner, Nick Ratcliffe, is a Rochester native. When he moved back in 2020, he wanted to fill a need in the golf community,

“There is a lack of indoor simulators, and I thought this would be a great idea, Rochester is continually ranked among the best golf cities in the country, and there is a great golf scene, and we can definitely support it,” he said.

He added Pittsford is the perfect demographic fit for X-Golf, and is excited to bring a fun and novel business model to the area.
