It boasts a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and parks, making it popular among young professionals with moderate political views. The area is served by top-rated public schools.
Weddington, another suburb of Charlotte located in Union County, provides a rural setting with a strong emphasis on homeownership and conservative values. It is recognized for its excellent public schools.
Cary, a suburb of Raleigh in Wake County, is a heavily suburban area filled with restaurants, coffee shops, and parks, making it ideal for families. The residents generally have moderate political views, and the public schooling system is highly commendable.
These rankings are based on factors such as high home prices, elevated incomes, and a high percentage of highly educated residents. These characteristics often contribute to a perception of snobbishness, whether deserved or not.
