    This drastic step comes after the company's recent announcement to close 174 stores across 15 states.

    The company has faced escalating financial challenges, with a reported net loss of nearly $77 million at the end of 2023, marking a 30% increase from the previous year. Adding to its difficulties, Conn's recently received a delinquency notice from Nasdaq for failing to file its Q1 report on time.
