    Does it feel like it takes you a long time to get to work? Traffic just seems to be getting worse every day, and North Carolina is no exception. One North Carolina city has one of the longest commutes in the nation.

    According to Replica, Charlotte ranks in the top 4 cities in the U.S. for long commute times. Raleigh also placed high on the list, along with Atlanta.

    The study compared the top 50 metro areas in the U.S., focusing on vehicle miles traveled per capita, daily travel minutes per capita, and walking mode share.

    Here are the U.S. cities with the longest average commutes:

    • Nashville, Tennessee: 2 hours 20 minutes
    • Birmingham-Hoover, Alabama: 2 hours 10 minutes
    • Atlanta, Georgia: 2 hours 6 minutes
    • Charlotte, North Carolina: 2 hours 3 minutes
    • Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: 2 hours 2 minutes
    • Indianapolis, Indiana: 2 hours 1 minute
    • Cincinnati, Ohio: 2 hours
    • Memphis, Tennessee: 2 hours
    • Louisville, Kentucky: 1 hour 59 minutes
    • Jacksonville, Florida: 1 hour 58.7 minutes
    • Raleigh, North Carolina: 1 hour 58 minutes
    • St. Louis, Missouri: 1 hour 57.2 minutes
    • Denver, Colorado: 1 hour 56.9 minutes
    • Seattle, Washington: 1 hour 56.7 minutes
    • Detroit, Michigan: 1 hour 56.1 minutes
