An article published by Travel.Alot.Com has identified a particular city in North Carolina as one of the saddest in the United States.

The travel site has examined data from sources such as Gallup and Healthways partner, who created the Community Well-Being Index.

They've made a list of the 30 cities that rank as the saddest in the country because their emotional well-being overall is lower than average.

The findings are revealed, and the site has labeled Fayetteville as the saddest. Keep reading to learn more.

The Fayetteville metropolitan area is the second-most populous in southeastern North Carolina and 142th-most populous in the United States with an estimated population of 392,336 in 2023.

What is it that makes Fayetteville the saddest city in North Carolina?

As mentioned in the article, this could be due to the worst in the Community Pride category. This is what the site had to say:

"North Carolina may be a beautiful state, but the people of Fayetteville aren't too proud of the city they've built. In fact, Gallup and Healthways have ranked them the absolute worst in this category."

Starting with Mayor mitch colvin and the city manager . Since Colvin has been in office, everything is racist and what benefits him and his cronies. Everything is whats best for certain ethic groups and not for the city or the people. I still believe he had something to do with the business that filed bankruptcy. Why was 1 company had several contracts. Appears no bidding took place. Sad thing is no outside investigation. City looks run down , homeless people on street, panhandlers on corners and etc.
