North Carolina Grocery Store has the worst lines, quality, and prices, according to survey

A new study from the website Solitaired analyzed 3,000 grocery store reviews in 100 cities to find the best and worst grocery stores and what made them so good or bad.

The findings were based on Google reviews regarding customer service, food quality, prices and how quickly people were able to move through checkout lines.

While Trader Joe’s as a whole excelled in the rankings, as well as Costco and Wegmans, other grocery stores did not fare so well.

In North Carolina, one grocery store ranked towards the bottom in terms of “worst customer experience,” “worst quality” and “worst prices.”

The Sprouts Farmers Market on 105 W North Carolina 54, Durham, NC ranked 20th in terms of “grocery stores with the worst lines.”

One Google reviewer shared his experience at Sprouts Farmers Market Durham:

There is always a slow line to check out, no matter the time of day. It's crazy. There's other staff around, but they don't seem to have a protocol to help out. To make it worse, the cashiers move slow. Sometimes it can take more than five minutes to check out. I will avoid this location from now on
