Flags Flown At Half Staff Thursday for Former State Representative
Flags around the state will be flown at half-staff today in honor a former state representative from Genesee County. Tim Sneller of Burton died July 11 at the age of 68. He served in the House as a Democrat from 2017 to 2022, and was running for office in the 68th District before his death. Governor Gretchen Whitmer has ordered all U.S. and Michigan flags to be lowered to half-staff at the State Capitol Complex and encourages residents, businesses, schools, and local governments to do the same.
