Humane Society of Huron Valley aims to empty animal shelter in July
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Humane Society of Huron Valley is dropping adoption fees to$50 in July in the hopes of emptying its Ann Arbor shelter. Dogs and cats six months and older will only cost $50 between July 8-31 thanks to a sponsorship from the Bissell Pet Foundation.

$1M grant approved for construction of new Pittsfield Township park
PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI -- A recently approved $1-million grant will help bring a new park to Pittsfield Township. The grant was approved for the proposed Oak Valley Park through a state budget appropriation as a result of the efforts of state and local elected officials.
