Police in Tracy are searching for a 41-year-old man suspected of domestic violence that involved several victims last week.

Jose Rodriguez-Remigio, of Tracy, is wanted in connection with felony domestic violence and child endangerment, reported shortly before 9 p.m. on July 18 in the area of Winston Court and Colony Drive, police said.

Witnesses provided statements that led officers to believe that the suspect had fled into a nearby home and barricaded himself inside.

The Tracy Police Department's Crisis Response Unit responded, but after officers entered the home with warrants they found that the suspect had fled from the back of the home.

Police said the victims were taken to a hospital and later released.

Rodriguez-Remigio is described as a Hispanic man, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 184 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Rodriguez-Remigio is asked to contact the Tracy Police Department at (209) 831-6550.
