ALCOA, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Transportation said a crash on Alcoa Highway backed up southbound traffic for miles on Friday. The crash was reported at around 3:55 p.m. Eastern Time, according to TDOT. It closed a lane of the road, and TDOT said traffic was backed up for miles to near Montlake Drive — just past the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
City of Gatlinburg asks to avoid decorating with produce this fall after bear encounters
